 Christian singer/songwriter, Mollie Magee, has been involved in music ministry for most of her life. She is a multi-talented musician using flute, recorder, and tin whistle as an added feature in her concerts. Mollie’s greatest passion has been her involvement as an Artist Associate for “World Vision,” the largest Christian development and relief organization in the world. As an Artist Associate, Mollie educates others about the needs of helping children and poor communities throughout the world. She has learned first hand about many of these needs while on mission trips to projects in third world countries. Her debut CD, Riding the Wind, is a jazzy, acoustic mix of mostly original songs. Mollie says, “To be “Riding the Wind” is to let God take the lead.” The songs reflects God’s plan for Mollie’s life, piece by piece, in developing her own inner strength as she allows herself to trust in the Lord. Mollie’s second CD, Invitation, takes you inside her heart and reveals her tenderness for the Lord and invites the listeners to adjust their lives to God and to walk in His grace and mercy. Invitation is a colorful blend of musical styles, which vividly expresses Mollie’s talents of singing, playing guitar, flute and songwriting. Her third recording project, Hymns for a New Millennium, is unique and diverse from any of her earlier works. Carefully, Mollie and Mark selected twelve great hymns of faith that have meant a lot to them. These hymns will uplift the hearts of all listeners with its Celtic and Jazz flavor making this a must to add to any music collection. The newest CD, Star Carol, is a musical celebration of Christmas. It is both festive and worshipful. “Star Carol” is dedicated to Mollie’s Dad who passed away in July 2003. His love for Jesus and devotion to his family, his heart for helping those in need, and his dedication to this Concert Ministry will be missed by all. The “Mollie Magee Concert Ministry” has grown over the years and witnessed many blessings. Mollie’s music video entitled “Signs and Wonders” was released nationally to several major Christian Broadcasting Networks (Praise TV, TBN Real Videos and ZTV). World Vision has selected Mollie as one of the Top 20 Artists Associates in the United States, acknowledging the Concert Ministry’s dedication to reach people with the need to become involved in missions worldwide. Mollie’s Concert Ministry is unique and special because it is a complete musical presentation of song, video and involves the entire congregation in the worship experience. Children and adults of all ages are encouraged by this enjoyable and uplifting time of worship. Mollie’s presentation of the World Vision Child Sponsorship Program invites the congregation to become partners with a credible worldwide mission to help children. Mollie’s music is uplifting, refreshing and speaks to a listener’s soul. Her harmonious sounds celebrate a life involving Jesus Christ. “My hope is that people will be affected by my passion to impact others for Christ. I pray that they will become motivated and encouraged by the music and testimony I bring and that they will reach out and help those in need.” Currently, Mollie is in charge of Women's Ministry at Fairview BIC. After speaking to Pastor Mark Ballard about her desire to lead this women’s ministry at Fairview Brethren in Christ Church, Mollie began to plan and organize activities. The name of the group, Fairview Women in Christ, FWiC, is open to all women. It is important that women have a friendly place to come and feel part of community. Mollie resides in Englewood, Ohio, with her husband Mark, son Matthew David, and her 2 beautiful cats - Simba and Mikala.
